This Privacy Policy explains what information Knoxturnal Web Consulting ("Knoxturnal Web," "I," "me") collects through knoxturnalweb.com, how it's used, and the choices you have. Knoxturnal Web is a one-person web design and SEO consultancy based in Los Angeles County, California.

Information I collect

Information you give me

When you use the contact form, email me, or call, you may share:

Your name, email address, and phone number
Your business name and website address
The services you're interested in and anything you write in your message

If you become a client, I'll also receive information needed to do the work, such as project details, content, images, and access to accounts like your website, hosting, domain, Google Business Profile, or analytics.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the companies that host and deliver this site keep standard technical logs, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and page styling from a content delivery network. When your browser requests those files, those providers receive your IP address and basic browser information, as described in their own privacy policies.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and it doesn't use analytics cookies. If I add a tool such as Google Analytics in the future, I'll update this policy before doing so.

Service providers that host this website, deliver email, process form submissions, store files, or handle invoicing and payments. They may use your information only to provide those services.
Platforms used for your project, such as your hosting company, CMS, or Google services, when the work requires it and you've asked me to do that work.
Legal authorities when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Knoxturnal Web, clients, or others.
A successor business if Knoxturnal Web is ever sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

Client accounts and project data

Logins and access you provide for a project are used only for that project, kept confidential, and stored securely. When a project ends, I recommend changing any passwords you shared, and I'll remove my access on request.

How long I keep information

Inquiries that don't turn into projects are generally deleted within 24 months. Client records, contracts, and invoices are kept as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal purposes, typically up to 7 years. You can ask me to delete your information sooner, subject to those legal requirements.

Security

I use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), limited access, and storing shared logins securely. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.

Correct or update your information
Ask me to delete your information
Stop receiving non-essential emails

I'll respond within 30 days and won't treat you differently for making a request.

California residents

California law gives you the right to request information about the personal information shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. I do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because this site doesn't track visitors across other websites, there is nothing to turn off, and the site works the same whether or not the signal is sent.

Children's privacy

This site and my services are intended for businesses and adults. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I'll delete it.

This site may link to other websites, including client projects and social media profiles. I'm not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
